Secondhand Lions

Yesterday night, at 3am, I was watching "Secondhand Lions" while my roommate were in their dreamland...
The story began with a 14 year-old boy (dumped off by his mom), spending his summer with his two great uncles in a farm in rural Texas. The great uncles are adventurous and weird. They are rumored to have been bank robbers, war criminals in their young age and they seems to have endless surprise of cash. The boy tried to find the true story of his great uncles which is totally different from the rumors...he doubt if he should believe in his great uncles' stories, and the answer that he got from his uncle is:-
If you want to believe in something, then believe in it
just because somehting isn't true, no reason you can't believe in it...
Sometimes the thing that may or may nopt be true are the things that a man needs to believe in the most:-
-that people are basically good
-that honor, courage and virtue mean everything
-that power and money, money and power mean nothing
-that good always triumphs over evil
-that true love never dies
Doesn't matter if it's true or not
A man should believe in those things, because those are the things worth believing in!
The movie give me the warmth feeling in my heart and the messages leave a smile on my face:)
Thanks Jess for recommended this movie to me!
