The Bearie Happening Gathering

The great weekend (02-03 June) is brought to me by the bears!

I have manage to convince my dear to drive me to KL since he was looking for this Nintendo DS Lite:) He has found in some local forums that the price for the NDS Lite is more competive in KL...and woohoo...we came to KL so that he can get his NDS and i can meet up with the bears!

On Saturday morning

1) Bak Kut Teh brunch in Klang

Thanks to the eldest bear~Alan for recommending this place to us since a few years ago:)

The first surprise that i got is~~ Jessica came all the way from Miri...she came earlier as she will be having a business trip in Petronas HQ on Monday. She emailed me and reassure me that she is not coming this weekend but she turned up!! Thanks dear

It is a decent brunch session where we have some of the bears: alan, cheesheng, hui woon, jess and i...also we do have some non bears joining~ flo, geralynn, my dear yee wei and joon wan. we were updating each others, also a little bit of gossiping of those bears that were present;p

2) After the fullfilling meal, we went for NDS Lite hunting in Sungei Wang..

that was the time for yee wei..we spent 3 hours, checking out the prices in most of the shops..comparing the prices and of course we go for the cheapest...so mission accomplished! he has found what he wants.

3) Korean Dinner ~ We had dinner at Mid valley. the food is not really up to our expectations but it's acceptable;p since we have alan and jessica have been to korea, of course we will get some comments on the food from them;p even for myself, i still think the one in JB is better;p Anyway, i tried the weird wasabi ice cream..it taste vanilla when i first put it into my mouth but later..the light wasabi taste revealed.

4) We had the good time hanging out with hui woon at Asia Cafe for drinks..it reminds me so much of the uncountable mamaking sessions that we bears had during out Uni time...my goodness..all the funny jokes, heart to heart chats, gossiping and animal talks over mamak sessions...

On Sunday, we have more bears for the gathering @ The curve!

1) KTV session ~ the bears gave me a great surprise where they have arrange the waiter to cut the song that we were singing, changed it to birthday song while the birthday cake is served...i am really touched...i was speechless at thta moment but just feel like hugging the bears..thanks bears~ hui woon, alan, jess, own chai, ngiam the moose and kok hin

2) Ikea ~ shopping with hui woon, jess and own chai..it's always fun to shop with them as we have so much ideas and comments..regardless if its a piece of clothes, books or even furniture:)

3) Shrek3 ~ all of us understand why is ngiam not joining us for Shrek 3 when the Donkey appeared on the screen!

4) TGI Fridays dinner~ those bears sabo me!!! Dont know which evil bear told the waiter that it is my birthday....ok, it wasn't that day, is the day after....but when the waitress came with a slice of cake and i was requested to stand on the chair..i know i am being sabo! ok..demi the bears...

Again..i would like to thank all the bears...for bringing me such a great, fun and crazy weekend..
