April til Sept 06

havent post up anything on my blog for at least half a year already.
yea, JC..you are right. it's time for me to sometimes update my blog so that at least some of my friends out there will know what is happening to me..;p

actually nothing much different or special happened in my life since April..everyday just working, studying and hanging out with friends...shall i call it routine or a monotone life??? I am not sure..however, there were of course sweet moments that i spent with my dearest friends around me...

April ~ emrn..the whole damn month was busy with my work..I am working for Citigroup Sales and Outsourcing Services (mainly servicing Citibank Singapore)..I started working last year, but in March, I changed my job descriptions..taking more responsibelities and roles in Admin dept. Thus, March and April is hectic as I am learning more about Finance and HR related administrative work..however, its motivating as i am learning something new. My Singaporean bosses are demanding, but i take it as challenges..:) if it doesnt kill me..it will just make me stronger...

May~ its a honeymoon month for me...;p I went to visit Jessica and Leonard in Miri, Sarawak with my ah boy and ah khoon..thanks to air asia free flight ticket..We were there for a week..did lotsa sports, some sight seeing, went to Niah Cave, and eat a lot ...it is a good break for me..










but when i came back from holiday, i have post holiday blues..missed my ah boy a lot..and my work has piled up from my one week leave...so, stayed for more OT to clear off the pending work..

June~ celebrated my birthday back home...really home sweet home na:)
then moved to JB..from Taman U, I moved to Taman Sri Tebrau in JB. the rental is 2 times more expensive, but the distance to work is 5 times lesser..it took only 5 minutes from my house to work by cab:) I still think its a wise choice.


July~ Semester reopen, start my final thesis..change the topic to waste water treatment...and the lecturer is very helpful:) I like July because Yiying, leo,wan xiang are back...even though i dont stay with them anymore..but we still meet up very very often:) and then I started planning for LLDS 06 for UTM...first time being a chair of the conference...got to known Hannah, our Taiwanese trainee...a very tough but sentimental girl:) have tonnes of topics to talk about...

August~
A weekend in Malacca & Muar with Yiying, Wan Xiang, Hannah, Ethan and Johnny.
It was a filling weekend as we ate so many good food..ikan bakar, sotong bakar, satay celup, hainanese chicken rice balls, chendol, apple pie in Malacca....

Visited JC in Muar...got to know her for 5 years, but that was the 1st time visiting her hometown. I miss the otak-otak, asam fish, crabs for dinner in Muar..also not forget the rojak buah for dessert. Thanks JC;)


LLDS 06...was busy with the agenda and also to meet up with some facis..My facis are Fadli, Masaru, Chee Han, Tina, Jovi, Mei Mei, Me, Yi ying and Hannah. Eventually LLDS 06 went well even though in between there were some problems...Its a tiring yet motivating conference for me.

Hannah left in on 22 Sept as her visa is expiring..sigh..sad to say goodbye...
She gave me a promise before she left ...
"she will be my bridemaid when i got married":)


oh yeah..almost forgot about this:-
I donated my blood the week before LLDS....first time in my life..the needle is huge..i am still wondering where did i get the courage as i will cry when i need to have injection..but i didnt drop a single tear when donating blood..woow...

Sept~

Reunion of Sunny Bears...a great weekend with sessions of bridges, karaoke , some fighting with wild moose, sleep over party where 6 people squeeze into 3 beds as we want to have bonding session:)

Meeting up with Ceci, JC and JC's ah boy at my favourite cafe, Black Canyon Cafe....got scolded by JC about not updating my blog..:( emrn..shop with Ceci in Jusco for oats and breakfast for Bloodtype O people...

Hwee Li left for Inti Colledge, Nilai..I am sad as she is such a good companion in shopping and movies...miss her a lot...even though I only got to know her for a few months (about 4 to 5 months), but we used to spend lotsa time after work together (take bus home, movies, shopping, drink teas and etc)...sigh..and we went for blood donation together...but luckily she will come back jb sometimes over the weekend..;)

Hanging out with the Japanese trainee, Masaru...we hang out quite often..for dinner, sometimes lunch...mainly talk about many thing, especially about disabilities issues that he is involving...about the workshop that he is incharge of...besides, also talking about many other things in life:) this dude lefted Malaysia on 24 Sept...brought him to singapore and send him off from changi airport..another goodbye after Hannah..sigh..i hate goodbyes....but i think we just dont say goodbye..but i will see them again next year in taiwan:)

this is already end of Sept..time flies..hopefully i will get my work and thesis done as soon as possible...still not sure what will happen in the near future..so many uncertainties...but what the heck..just do it..
at least i know i will be settling down very soon..i think..not sure if i will get use to it..but always believe things happened for the better!
